lake hickory sun july 29th

fished lake hickory yesterday.. it was my first trip there for this year. i have
spent most of my time on norman, lookout so far this year.

didnt get a water temp, since my fish finder went out :( but the fishing was still nice.
i went out early enough to miss the jet ski hatch.

got into a nice school of white perch.. you had to be quick on the hook set. it was
nothing to cast out, and get five- six hits. bam bam bam. before you could get a hook
into one of them. once hooked the put a nice bend if you had a 4-5 wt rod

Have only caught one White Perch down here.
Beaucoup Warmouth over the years as in certain places
they are plentiful.
