Woolly Bugger

Rhody: Leegdog and I are going fishing tomorrow, you in?

Me: I've got a project to get out the door. If I get it done by noon, I'll see ya there.

Rhody: Fuk work

Me: Yeah, fuk work!

No reason to get over there too early if were waiting on the afternoon pulse and hatch.

Get to the river, phone rings, "Where you at, bring the beer and snads from my truck, we're up above the island."

The river was way low, and the pulse wasn't much, the lake is now just getting up to full summer pond, would be nice to get some serious rain so they could increase the flows a bit. Wind was kicking up pretty bad and thunderstorms threatened off in the distance. The birds were active but few bugs were popping off the water that we, and the trout, could see. Fished till dark hoping for some magic, few spinners spotted, and the trout became interested in rusty spinners as darkness approached.

ex - I'm not going to live with you through one more fishing season!
me -There's a season?

Pastor explains icons to my son: you know like the fish symbol on the back of cars.
My son: My dad has two fish on his car and they're both trout!
