Went to Wyoming with the family.   Benefits of being over 8,000 ft include cool weather and no rattlesnakes.   Detriments include no hoppers.   The fishing was ok but we missed all the hatches including the big drakes.   Can't complain too much........

Good deal! Doesn't get any better than that! Which part of WY?

Looks good to me! (except the broken rod)

Well that looked fun. Glad the trip went good

 Solid work.  I would have been in that spring creek the whole time.

Beetle

Hindsight.....I would have fished the spring creek a lot more.

Sleepy, we were in SE WY on the N Platte

Thanks for posting these scenery pics. The plant life sure is lush and beautiful.  What few times I've been to this part of the state, the earth appeared to be parched from prolonged droughts.

That's a beautiful dump.   'c;

Sweet!

I tried to get the wife to agree to a 30 acre purchase in WY nearly 15 years ago and she wouldn't even consider it . . .

If she saw these, she'd probably tell me that's why.

Man that place sucks.  My bro lives in SE WY now.  I had no idea it was that beautiful.

The only real downer is the plight of all the pine trees out there- be it Colorado, Wyoming or elsewhere.    I would say millions of them are dead from those beetles.   Damn Beetles!

Damn fine work for certain.
