Headed home for spring break as it's my last break before reality slaps me in the face after graduation.  Had a good time catching up with old friends and saying goodbye to my Georgia home waters.  Did a lot of fishing on the farm pond that I taught myself how to fly fish for the first time.  Didn't catch anything big, but probably caught around 250 fish in total.  Here are the pics from the trip.

Lose of man card I would say.

Charlotte gas prices are sucky!

Spartansburg gas prices rock (For the nationwide average that is)

The giant butt of SC.

Everything in bloom in GA.

I have a friend who lives in a rich country club.  This place is home to Waka Flocka, Soulja Boy, and every rich person from the south side of ATL.  When I got a call from the friend to fish some of the golf course ponds in the country club I jumped on the opportunity.

Gives you an idea of the size of houses in here.

Giant!!!

Back to the farm pond slaying.

Crappie were on their beds already.

Left early this morning to go back to VA.

Tranny, in honor of you!

Gas mileage for a 3-speed jeep wrangler sucks!  at 70 mph it runs over 3,000 rpm's

Sorry for all the pics, but that was my spring break in a nut shell.

Some warmwater action, ha lord. Hit me up man, I landed a huge brookie in SNP. It was as long as the fish tranny caught, but even thicker. Thing was a straight up football, and hit the dry fly like a bat out of hell....

Well the pond your talking about use to be a true farm pond 6 years ago.  I use to pull 5 pound bass out of the pond quite regularly.  But the farmer sold all his land to a neighboring church and they have turned it into a rec fields and have a walking track around the pond. It's a shame that it happened because I haven't seen a bass over three pounds pulled out of the pond in over 3 years.  Supposed to be catch and release, but see people with buckets of fish all the time.  Got into a pretty nasty arguement over the summer with a guy who was throwing 9 inch bass into his bucket. Don't quite understand that one.

Damn, I didn't catch 250 fish all last year.  Nicely done.   -0-

Man those are some nice bream.  I swear once a farm ain't a farm something changes.  I don't know what but it is something missed.  Did ya get any boiled peanuts near that gigantic peach?

Oh man, I love me some boiled peanuts.  I didn't get any around the giant South Carolina butt though.  That's one thing I hate about VA!  I have never seen boiled peanuts here.  GA has boiled peanuts at every other gas station.

Damn great report and thanks for all the pictures.

I am a bluegill fanatic and the fist flick is a heckuva good gill unless you have small hands.
