Impressive victory by the Deacs. Better pull off the win after all that money they spent on their new 6,500 square foot TV .

Got absolutely kapowwed at the West End Opera House after game.
The morning after I limped my way to M'ville. Fished the Smith. In the cognitive blur I was in I forgot my camera.
Caught a few browns and a couple stockers. Looks like we'll finally be seeing some benefits from the Coursey Springs renovation. Left the river, stopped in for some southern goodness at the Midget Market. Got the usual, 2 hot dogs all the way, fry, and a mountain dew and jumped on the road back to the Valley to recup.

After coming out of an 8 hour coma I decided to hit another tailwater that for some odd reason I'd never been to.
Mother nature was showing some colors.

Farted coming down the mountain and couldn't believe how long the breakfast burrito remnants lingered. Then I finally realized.

Worked my way upstream stopping at the canoe launches.

That's the section those ass clowns claim they own. 236 years later and we're still fighting. Fucking Redcoats.

Blew out a boot. Plastic soles are even worse for wading than the new Vibram. No better time for lunch.

There's a good chance that the main reason I fish is so that I have an excuse eat vittles like those.

The dam was pumpin out what looked and smelled like doo doo. Guess the lake is a little late turning. Caught a few more fish regardless. I can only imagine how this place fishes when the water is premo.

Wading in water with 3 inches of visibility and with one felt sole...well I've done less sketchy things.
After a few close calls I decided to turn it in.

ex - I'm not going to live with you through one more fishing season!
me -There's a season?

Pastor explains icons to my son: you know like the fish symbol on the back of cars.
My son: My dad has two fish on his car and they're both trout!

Nice, glad you caught some. I'm thinking about heading down there this weekend.  Did you have to get the Full Nelson can at the brewery or do they sell it in stores now?

Nice work....got you a few meaty-looking bows there.

I got mine at the brewery. As far as I know that's the only place to get it.

Futurebirds are pretty incredible

wow, I couldnt imagine fishing the dam wiht a blown out boot.  Thats gotta be tough, Ive seen some locals pull out some monster fish up there this time of year on a giant  rapala. But you hear of a fly fisherman every now then hooking into one to. Its really hot up there if you can catch the black fly hatch. They wont touch anything else and the black flies get tiny.
Dont just a man by the size of his boat, but by the size of his bait !
