Title: SC Style - bluegill cleaning 101
Post by: mcanders on May 11, 2009, 07:24:58 AM
Went to the local pond yesterday afternoon. Got there just a little too late,  o-o.....
I set up and started casting to the usual spots. A couple fellows were walking towards me with poles, tackle boxes and a stringer full of gills...
Said they were on top of a hot spot using redworms...

I would have loved to drag my fly rod through there a couple of times, I did at least get one decent shellcracker before dark!

Dang what a mess of bream :o It would take me 2 hours to clean all those. Never fear though, a pan of hot peanut oil would be their fate 0--0
