Several times a year a couple of my and I converge on small mountain stream in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains to fish, drink, and frequent the local strip club (might I mention the girls are still skank as ever). We spent the last three days keeping the tradition alive. The locals use this stream as their trash dump, sewer, and swimming hole! Although we had fished this stream for years, there were a few sections that we had yet to fish. So I was hell bent on exploring new water and not reverting to our usual honey holes. Fall colors are in full swing and the browns are on the move and getting ready to do their thing. We spent three days prospecting miles of stream and we had the place to our self. The water was low and clear, which made sight fishing the preferred MO. This is what we found.
