Dildos on the brookie stream, urinating in bottles, fornicating while tumbling through the troposphere!!! What the hell is going on here?!?!?
This forum is my one and only connection to the outside world (no FB, no Twitter, no social networking and microblogging) and it appears we are quickly deteriorating into a ruinous condition.
I am open to suggestions of other more honorable, respectable, virtuous, and principled boards.

Here, maybe this will help. I'm working through Allen and Edmunds (1965) key and this couplet is giving me trouble.

Are these considered tubercles or simply pigmentation?

Also, saw a few pretty decent toe hatches here lately; keep your eyes peeled

Yes, I have snapped back from the hedonistic abyss of aerial screwing, pissing, and sex toys. All the decadent, wild talk made me feel old. Now you've made me feel even older, more worthless, and further out of touch by mentioning my once beloved spiny-crawlers.
Which couplet, 8, 9, or 10?
septentrionalis (now in the genus
Penelomax) and
berneri (now in the genus
Tsalia) are 2 of the easiest in the family to ID as nymphs. Many of the other Ephemerellidae are damned near impossible to ID as immatures (a bit easier if you have last instars) as I remember. Used to be the male peckers, often mounted on slides, were the norm for species confirmation (insect porn rules!). I bet now it is genetics.
I see protuberances on 4-7 (I think), so go to 10, then to 11 (
berneri has John Holmes sized tubercles).
You two, get a room

E. catawba? I don't really see the protuberances. The ab terga are glabrous and ab terga #3 has a minute spine. Never really messed with this one...

May need a better photo. I am only seeing with 1 eye. Could be
catawba.
Bossman got us a room. He's providing the weed, pizza, and hookers. Plus he's dropping by later with his camera to document our success.

Very little humans endeavor to do makes any sense from my fucked up perspective. Why in the devil do agonize of every figgin detail of a pathetic Mayfly? How did they earn more than one genus? Humans are getting the short end of the stick! May we start counting freckles and moles, and labor over pubic hair color.
Hope you'll still pop in to visit the low rent board. :wave

Please stop. It's just so tired
John, I'll never leave you! Who would replace me and make you "so tired"? As Kipling said, "The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe."
Peace

I am still pissing in a bottle.

More power to all that piss in a bottle. I've pissed into many bottles but only when I was hunting deer, but now I no longer worry, because now I piddle, return the unit in pants and piddle some more – piddle scent on pants = no need for bottle.
Never understood the aversion to urinating in questionable restrooms and the fear of nasties like Hepatitis C (blood to blood transfer I believe). Unless you're wallowing on the fluid blood laced floor and you have open bloody sores then contamination is unlikely. Now taking a perch for a screaming Comanche is another story, but again, I don't see the fear of standing to piss, unless you need to squat to pee. Next poll: What is your position when you urinate? Standing, Sitting/Squatting on the Potty, Doesn't matter – in Depends, Other, Once at band camp I pissed standing on my head.
My greatest pissing accomplishment was rolling over and peeing out of a hammock on a 20 degree night without sitting up or getting out of the hammock.
