Croaker,

Do you know the model of yak AJ is using?

Also,  have the specks started running down your way?

Chris, It is a T100. AJ has two now, because he bought mine. It is an alright yak, but it is a bit slow and tracks mediocker. It is only a 10' boat. For what you want to do, I would go with at least a 12' yak or longer such as The WS T120 or the OK Prowler 13. THe Prowler 13 is what I have. :)

She's doing fine. Depending on how things go, should have some pups between April and June of next year. Willl let you know. I am waiting for things to cool off so I can start working her more. She's getting restless. She's ready to go hunting. Will probably hit the dove fields on the second season. I will post some pics of the hunts when we go. Didn't you have to have knee surgury or something? How did that go?

Surgery would have bought me about 5 yrs before having a knee replacement at my current pace.  So, I'm taking meds and not leading a less adventuresome life...got promoted so I'm running our contingency ops instead of participating in them.  Doc says it's good for my knees but it'll probably kill me due to lack of excitement and being stuck behind a desk.

Gunner about had a fit Thurs when we had 46 mallards, 21 blacks and a piles of woodies swimming without a care (or clue we were there)within a 40 yd arc of the blind.  The teal, the few that we saw,  kept flying 60 - 70 yds out so we started building blinds about 9 am.  Worked him once I got the dog deck built; he nailed every blind retrieve I sent him on.   That's good since most of our blinds don't afford the dogs a view of the shooting.
