Went to the Watauga for a morning/early afternoon fish. It wasn't on fire, but I managed a few small browns and rainbows mixed in with a few larger browns. They were colored up just as pretty as they could be. The jiggy nymph (Frenchie) was the trick -- none of them touched my little dropper scud or bwo either one. All in all, a pleasant way to spend a few hours.

Nice! 'c; I'm butchering deer meat today, may try to get out awhile tomorrow if this rain doesn't blow the creeks out.
I know I'm holding 'em the same, but those last two pics are different fish, I swear. The first pic's fish was skinnier.

Different gill plates and spots. Don't be feeling guilty, bro.

Guilty? Guilty? Why yes. Yes I am. (Except for the drinking part now.)
