I have that exact same Coleman stove, but I have never cooked bagels and lox on mine. I don't even know what exactly lox is , for that matter. :D

Do you find that the grill side is worthless?  I bought a griddle insert for that side that works a little better.
Its a toasted bagel, cream cheese, smoked salmon, red onion, & sometimes capers and other veggies.

finally caught a fingerling. pushed on until we found a spot close to trail. another interesting part of this stream is how GK tried to convince me a bear was around. walking in he said he saw fresh shit on the ground. I never saw it. then, about 30 minutes in to fishing he stops and turns around and asks if i smelled that. "Nope." said it stunk like a bear. didn't work though.

After stopping back in the cutest little camping town to make sandwiches (granny didn't want to buy 'pork on a stick' from the hispanic woman), we hit the upper section in hopes of bigger fish

last beer before bed, which wasn't peaceful thanks to the two dudes who set up camp across from us. they did not get a fire going until after 9 pm. they attempted to cut firewood with a chainsaw before dark, but ricky let it die. got the saw up and running again some point in the night. had another vehicle join their party sometime between 2 and 3. i think they knew what they were doing.

all in all, a good weekend. caught fish, drank beer, ate good, and survived the long drive home.

Mine actually works pretty good for many things, including setting a pan on. I wouldn't want to cook a brisket on it, but it does ok for most small grilling/toasting chores. I have the griddle insert, too.
