As anybody who explores new reaches of terrain and/or water knows, it ain't always pretty. This was my second attempt at getting my feet wet in this stream......rejected once again. It wasn't for the lack of trying, however. 4wd took me through terrain that I should have my ass kicked for subjecting a newer vehicle to. Miles into remote and sketchy Jonestown type scenery, I progressed. I all but wedged this pickup on this little trail to the point of no return. No turning around. Straight down for hundreds of feet on one side. Tons of black irrigation pipe, bullet-hole-riddled barrels and other objects, motion sensors, recent vehicle tracks, and strange (but familiar) gallon jugs littered the area. I can't be fully positive, but I may have slipped in on some folks' crops, labs, or stills. I located a few small huts among other things.

I've got three more ideas. I'm fishing this creek one way or the other. Until next time.
