Haven't had a report in a while, cause all I've been doin' is chasin' muskie.
In the last six weeks (seven trips), two rivers.  I've raised over twenty, and had three eats...to no avail.
Fish have been of various size ranges.

So yesterday I raised two, the first was a forty inch plus fish, but turned off the fly...nothin' new.

Second fish darted out from under a brushpile like a lightning bolt and inhaled the fly...
The fish was only about 24 inches, but at least I got it out of my system (yeah, right).

Here's a couple of quick pics.

Hero shot, and head shot under water.

Damn nice fish!!!!!

I haven't seen muskie that big since the days of my youth, in northern Wisconsin.
Fine job on getting it to hit a fly. They used to say " a muskie is the fish of a thousand casts".

Fine job........

Thanks TP...
I believe that is "ten thousand casts.
And throw a fly rod into the mix to bump it up to near a hundred thousand!

Pastor explains icons to my son: you know like the fish symbol on the back of cars.
My son: My dad has two fish on his car and they're both trout!
