twinbridges

decided to go a new place today.  the mccarthy mountains.  started at 4500 feet climed to 9500 feet.  little steep tracks, dead reckoning, narrow, boulders, then keep climbing.  find the top, then try to figure the way down.  found 10 cow elks, the switchbacks, so narrow take four turns, then down, down.  it is amaziing to wander in unknown country.  20-30 miles in mountains you dont know and routes your dont know.  if something happens it is a very long walk with critters you dont likely want to visit with, but that is the adventure.

but now your playground is bigger, a whole new mountain range!  I will get some pics up but too  much trouble to reduce them now.  maybe another bushmill and think about steep narrow paths goind somewhere you dont know but remembering building roads is hard work in the mountains and they must be roads to somewhere and maybe somewhere your want to go.

will have a bushmills this evening in honor of your expedition, and look forward to seeing it in person
My picture weighs more than your picture.

Cool, looks like a road less traveled.
