I cannot believe I beat you to the punch on posting this new camera. It looks great. I've always been happy with my TG-4.

Same here -- that's if the damned thing ever dies. It's been hauled over endless beaches, mountains, ridges, boulders, and bounced off of God knows how many rocks, and submerged under water more times than I'll ever be able to recall. Tough is an accurate assessment.
Since I'm only a month or so into my discounted TG-5, I'll be good for 6 years or so.
I bought a TG-5 over a year ago, and I haven't been able to kill it yet. I really like it.
I bought a TG5 over a year ago and I still don't know how to do custom settings! ( or take advantage of the multitude of other settings).
I looked for a video explaining how to set the custom modes on the camera and found this
