Bad east wind making 2-3 footers on Sat. Sunday flat calm till 11am the east wind again. Didn't find any redfish.

Yeah we have been keeping an eye on him, didn't look like he did anything either this weekend.  The wind just ruined it for everyone.  b';

  Thanks on the compliment, now if we can just get a big red to eat them.

If I'm in the salt the I usually at least one spinning rod in the boat. I'm there to catch fish. Preferably on the fly but will lower my standards if I have to.

Decided to fish Monday and Tuesday. The wind has been a bitch. But fish have been caught. Still here. May go back if wind dies after lunch.

This one was one artificial. I did fish menhaden at night, but only caught skates and possibly malaria.

Wish I would have been paying better attention. Been busy transitioning into a new job. I'm headed down to Kure Beach next weekend with my wife's family. Hoping for light winds and drum in the surf. Hit me up next time you head that way.

That was yesterday. It was nice. Woke up this morning stepped out. Wind blowing 25, temp 48. Crawled back in bed.
