I hope everyone is well!  My name is Wesley Smith and I am new to Lexington, VA.  I was born in Dallas, Tx and went to SMU for college.  I joined the Army my senior of school and served as an Army Ranger in 2nd Ranger Battalion in Ft Lewis Wa. I served a total of 9 years.   I have a wife, Ashley, and a 2 year old boy, Sam. 

Fly fishing is something that I picked up while in Washington.  I started off fishing the Yakima for rainbows and the Puget Sound for Coho, and eventually fell in love with the 7 hour drive to Rock Creek near Missoula fishing for the grand slam( which is cutthroat instead of brookies). I would love to tell you why I love to fly fish, but I can`t.  I just do.
