I did a little fishing today.  Starting out I hit a stream I haven't fished since last April, which then was a mix of brookies and bows.  I then hit the stream that stream fed into, which was all new to water me.  Water temp was 49 starting out on the feeder.  The first stream wasn't too bad, didn't get any brookies though.  Second stream was a little better.  Got into some decent fish, all naturally spitting the hook.

I went from nymphs to dries to pink weenies, and repeated this throughout the day.  Nothing seemed to be consistent, with all working at various times.

All in all a gorgeous day and it was nice to be out on the water before winter hits hard and heavy.

Our insurance isn't that good to be mixing power tools and beer.  Unless you were making something for me.   Can't believe I didn't take you to the second stream ever.

The planer is worth its weight in gold.  Definitely has paid for itself on a number of projects.

Good luck on your fly-powered plane, you are on your own on that one.  That looks almost as difficult as marquetry....done a little of that too on occasion.

Good deal man. Nightcrawler container under a rock, huh? Reminds me of some of the creeks up here, people just don't give a shit sometimes.... :o

Pobably one of my most lame projects ever...birdhouses, economical Christmas gift option.  Just got everything rough cut for when I have more time to get them all knocked out.
