Title: Old man on a blue line- TR
Post by: TylerDurden on June 09, 2015, 18:12:08 PM
Over the last year of my life I've realized how fleeting time really is. The summer evenings that I used to spend fishing with pops are now consumed by work or resting for work. The old man's never been the fly fishing type; he's the one who introduced me to bass fishing, bream fishing, etc. I figured hell maybe it's time for me to return the favor. Time for me to do the teaching. It wasn't easy for him, but damn did he have fun catching his first wild trout.

Safe to say I'm out of gas right now

Cheers to the old man for trying something new. My old man is stubborn as hell. Good times. Memories.

He was reluctant when I introduced him to the terrain, but after he caught his first fish he was hooked  /'/

Yeah my dad, being used to catching bass, is quite the aggressive hook-setter. He sent the little bastard sailing through the air on the set which subsequently led to the little guy's demise. Oh well, it happens. Gotta learn somehow  d:b

Soak up the time together. It is gone too soon.

Nice report.  Saw a guy driving a Mercedes yesterday in a nice business suit smoking a black and mild.
