I found some fat creamy white caddis larva wrapped tightly in their stick casings last week in a little stream. I came home and tried to tie a few up.
hook- #14 caddis pupa
abdomen- white antron dubbing, ultra thin latex from a condom (i recommend an unused one ;))
rib- copper wire
thorax- super bright black dubbing
head- black bead

I think I like the sparse rib on the first, but with no rubber legs, as seen in second pic. Was hoping to fish it Saturday evening, but a storm turned the water chocolate milk 10 minutes after I set foot in the stream.
