Went small creek fishing with Jesse T. this morning and had a fine time. A fisheries biologist Jesse had talked to said there was no reproduction going on in this creek, but Jesse had fished it once before and found out differently. It's full of wild browns of all sizes -- mostly small, but a few bigguns. I caught a baker's dozen decent-sized little ones, a slew of tiny ones, and hooked 3 large fish (for the size creek) and landed one of 'em. A stray bow or 2 showed up as well. Jesse the trout Jedi magnet did better as usual. My fish pics --

Good work, Phillip. Your co-angler is a hell of a knowledgeable dude.

Yes, Jesse is "in the zone." Having a friend who calls ya when he wants to fish on his guide's day off is about as good as having a friend with a beach house or a friend with a boat.... /'/
Nice fish. Damn I hav got to get in the river.
Go Phil. :Dance
Nice you got Jesse away from his red wiggler farm.
