Title: New Brown Bass
Post by: troutrus on June 20, 2021, 09:47:11 AM
I was fortunate to be able to spend time with my son on this Father's Day weekend floating below Claytor Lake on the old New River.
The river was beautiful, the weather wasn't bad, the fishing was fair, the company was great.
No trophy fish, but enough feisty decent ones to keep it interesting.

Happy Father's Day to all you dear old dads.

Not sure what Rob was using there.  We were with a guide. I used one rod with a Shimano and one with a Mitchell, but they were newer models, not the old style that you are likely referring to.
