I've never owned a pair, I have heard people said the old Danner wading boots were the best boots they ever had. That was 20 years ago though.

I'm being halfway facetious. I've got a pair of Danner's I really like. They are turning more into a trendy lifestyle brand though lately. Teaming up with Patagonia is a prime example.
