Pastor explains icons to my son: you know like the fish symbol on the back of cars.
My son: My dad has two fish on his car and they're both trout!

I was going to guess some sort of cedar as well.
Flea is not the best bassist of all time.

I'll spoil your fun Doug.  Cryptomeria japonica, probably the cultivar 'Yoshino'.  Often referred to as Japanese cedar.

Eastern red cedar always reminds me of civil war battlefields in Virginia - particularly Manassas.
I was born by the river in a little tent, And just like the river I've been running ever since, It's been a long, long time coming, But I know change is gonna come.

I love cryptomeria!

Likewise.  My collection of cryptomeria has grown to eight (and counting) different selections.  From 30' specimen trees to 2'x2' green pincushions.  They do well in sun or shade, are drought tolerant once established, and the damn wood goats do NOT like to munch on them.  Unfortunately, the bucks do seem to enjoy using the smaller diameter cryptomerias for their rubs in the fall.  Really worked over one of mine this past November but I think it will recover.  Where's my rifle?  Damn deer.

Fin is a ringer. Didn't know he was lurking.  ;D
