Haha, yea they were pretty nice gills for where they came from.  I need the Burger King guy to hold my fish for pics.  If they weren't on the beds, they were getting ready and pretty aggressive.  All of them hit a small streamer which is kind of rare for this pond.

Dang you FrazenAngler!  I tried for a good part of yesterday to get one of those to bite.  They were grass carp though and not common carp.  Skiddish fish those things are.

Managed this guy Sunday fishing the Savannah with Croaker.....



Had probably a half dozen takes by fish roughly this size...but they came unbuttoned....I think we're gonna end up with a decent smallie fishery in the Savannah!   -0- -0- -0-
