Here is a rod that just came off the drier last night and is being presented to the new president of the company I work for.    He is taking over both plants March 1st, but being he travels to FL every week, us night shifters only see him twice a week.  He has asked me a few times to build him one, and I thought this would go well as a congrats gift.  The rod around the shop is the "brown nosing" rod to some.  Its not that at all, just a simple congrats gift to let him know we do care.  All the night shifters pitched in a few bucks to help cover a little of the cost.  One of the guys cut the reel seat out of a pcs of scrap titanium (we are a medical implant manufacturing plant) we found.  He engraved the name backwards due to the parameters in the machine, we looked into a new pcs at cost to re cut, but it was more then what I had in the rod.  So we moved forward with it.

Blank- American Tackle 7'6" 4wt 2pcs Matrix blank
Grip- Floral, burl natural and blue, and spotted rubber
Reel Seat- Custom engraved titanium, custom made titanium components
Reel Seat Insert and Accent- Blue/Black acrylic pin blank
Guides- Stripper guide Titanium w/ Blue insert and snake guides
