I've been stuck in a spring creek rut lately. Don't know why. Maybe it's the hope of a shot at a 20 inch fish, which never materializes, but you know there could be a chance. Whatever it is, it was hard to not make that right hand turn this morning. I hadn't brookie fished since April. I used to do it all the time. The 2wt needed a work out. I knew I had to keep driving. I'm happy with my decision.
