Anyone know anything about Holliday Creek in the Appamatox/Buckingham State Forest?  Was just reading about it on the VDGIF website.  My parents own some land and a cabin a couple of miles from there, and I was thinking about giving it a try on my vacation next week.

send address to cabin, we'll check it out for ya...
ex - I'm not going to live with you through one more fishing season!
me -There's a season?

Pastor explains icons to my son: you know like the fish symbol on the back of cars.
My son: My dad has two fish on his car and they're both trout!

Never fished it, that's not really trout country.  It's probably put and take or delayed harvest.  Keep heading NW for better trout water or hit the James for smallmouth.

Also, never tried it. Definitely DH water. Most of the other DH sections I have fished are understocked and/or poorly enforced.
I did pull four like this out of an unnamed section to the NW a couple of weeks ago. ;D

Like natureboy said, lots of good fishing on real mountain streams  an hour or less  to the W/NW if you get McSkunk'd.
