I want to see it cooked! That looks fucking delicious (cooked)!!!! I am new here so forgive me, are you an east coaster transplanted into AK? Just go on a moose hunt? Or did you just acquire some moose meat?

Didn't get any pics after cooking it, didn't last long. I put is straight on the grill, no seasoning or marinade, shits so good it doesn't need anything IMO.
I grew up in Alaska and my best friend from childhood is still there. He does a lot of hunting and fishing and is the head of FedEx in Alaska. He sends us down a box of salmon or moose from time to time. The last one had moose, halibut and clams.

Biscuits and sausage gravy are always good.

The first brown was wild. Excellent.
The second bow was wild. Nice colors.
The third bow was a stogger. That's OK.

Nice fish!

The Davidson. It's full of wild fish.

Phil

OK. It's a stogger brookie, then. Hard to tell with stoggers.  :P

Stogger brookies taste like shit when ya cook 'em.  I'd rather eat a good ribeye. The only fish I'll eat is a fresh salmon fillet, maybe once a year.  I just like to catch fish, not eat 'em. I used to eat a few brookies on camping trips, but don't any more. Too much work and too many bones.
