nah, i headed over to marshal's and got lucky they still had stuff in my size.  if i get too warm on the water, then i'll know next time.  figured i'd be safe than sorry with my first time out.

QuoteI do this from about 15 to 70 degrees after that I may break out a pair of shorts if I am feeling frisky

15 degrees.... ;)  ::) ::)  :-*

QuoteThe temperature drops to 10° or 12° F about once during an average winter over central North Carolina,

Yep shanktrout, I gto outta the blazer at the Holston parking lot one day in Jan. the thermometer said 13 degrees. Cold is a mental thing, that means you have to be crazy to be out in it! ;D But no really I do like a good pair of wool socks my feet get cold faster than anywhere well them and my hands.

CPR Catch, Photo, Release.

I've always used fleece and never gotten cold, but the Simms Waderwick looks good.

This one's kind of old but I just saw it for the first time.

I wear either long johns or fleece tights, or a combo of both.
The long johns are polypro
the fleece tights I got at a ski shop, they're much like the ones sold in a fly fishing shop but were under $20.  like these

I hated hipsters before it was mainstream
