Relocating to Boone NC

Newbie here, wife and I have been visiting the area for a few years and have decided that the High Country is where we want to retire, someday maybe! We are from the Lowcountry, Beaufort, SC. I chase reds and cobia on the fly here. Cant wait to start small stream hopping for wild brookies. Looking to move up next spring/summer. In time for the fall hopefully. Will probably be asking some questions, trying to learn all I can before I arrive. Tightlines to all.
