A little NC lake trip coming up

So, the weekend of the 16th, 17th & 18th we (the whole fam-damily) will be staying at a friend's home on a little gem of a lake in WNC that is reputed to have a population toothy finned critters.  I know there's boat access and I'm planning on packin' a couple o' rods for those early mornings when nobody else is awake & movin' . . .

I need some suggestions on fly choices, if'n y'all don't mind.

Or even if you do.

If by toothy critters you mean muskie, fly choice should be something BIG.  I haven't personally caught one but do fish for them 3-4 times a year.  I use Barry Reynolds pike fly made with zonker strips in various colors as well as some topwater divers that are about 8" long

Anything big, with red in it, stripped really fast.
