Got up this morning early and got all the gear ready.

Cleaned the Car

Had the oil changed

Bought the food, drinks, and ice.

Fuled up and headed out on the hour drive to meet up with the Sport for the day.

Poor guy shows up 15 minutes late with a busted transmission and cancels the trip.  I could be pissed but he was having a worse day than I was.  Helped him get some info for a local transmission shop and did the only thing left to do.

Money had been spent, cooler was full, might as well fish my way back to the house

Called BRA and with bass season on he is staying at his summer river home so I swung by, kicked the bottles of thunderbird out of the way  and woke him up

The view from the bedroom

I liked what the interior designer had done with the place and it felt appropriate at the moment with the money and time I had lost on today's trip so I snapped a quick shot.

We hit the water

Dinkers at first

Then BRA (AKA Big Nymphin')  got into a decent one with the dead drift Craw Dad

Worked our way back up stream and I left BRA at the gate

That little Dink wasnt enough to salvage the day so I calle the wife and said Id' be late.

Headed on down to the home water about 30 miles down stream from BRA's  river home.

And it was ON FIRE

Caught alot of fish missed alot of fish lost a few fish

The Angry Sun decided to finally call it a day, so I did too.

Not bad for a few salvaged hours I suppose.
