Passed this teardrop on the way up to the Smith this afternoon

Got to the water by 3:30 and it was hot Sally just lay down in the river after the hike across the fields.

Tied on a comparadun with a soft hackle dropper. There were a few sulphurs popping off, but not many risers.
Most of the fish hit the soft hackle but a few took the dry with spashy rises.

The action really got under way around 8 o'clock, when the sulphurs starting coming off in droves.
The water came alive an there were dozens of trout rising within casting range.

The hatch petered off by 8:45 nd I called it a day. -0- -0-

Pastor explains icons to my son: you know like the fish symbol on the back of cars.
My son: My dad has two fish on his car and they're both trout!
