Took the day to head for a stream that is somewhat hard to access. Two ways in are to walk a good ways or to paddle across the lake and up into the stream. Headed out this morning and took 30 mins to paddle to the stream. The waters were clear but were pretty high for this stream. I started out with some dry's but had zero luck. Switched to a bhpt and that was the ticket. Ended up catching 8 fish alltogether. 2 wild browns and 6 wild bows. All the fish in this stream are wild. There are some brookies in there but they still eluded me today. Anyway it was a good day to be out. The nice thing about this stream is that you never see anyone and the only sounds are nature.

Pastor explains icons to my son: you know like the fish symbol on the back of cars.
My son: My dad has two fish on his car and they're both trout!

Its not any big trout in there but there are alot of nice 8-12 inch trout. I took my 2wt today. Stripping a woolly bugger did good till one broke off the only one i had with me. If you do go, take the time and walk up stream maybe a 1/2 mile. The water gets alot better.
