Spring Fling at the hunting cabin

Spent last satuday at the family hunting cabin.  We usually spind the night up there but softball and baseball got in the way this year. Kids spent the day riding their 50 cc atv and motorcycle and fishing.

My son did most of the fishing and looked like this most of the time.  Bluegills were the result.  A few bass were seen crusing around but none would eat.  A couple looked to be 13-15" fish.

My daughter got in on the act as well.

After everyone was happy with their fishing I slipped off into the woods to find this.

Where a half dozen of these lived.  Not bad for fishing in the middle of the afternoon.

We left the cabin around 8:30PM and the kids were asleep before we hit the paved road.  Great day with great memories.

That little girl looks like one serious fish catcher. :)

Actually the boy is the fish catcher.  It is hard to get him to stop fishing. She likes catching the salamaders.

If I can just get her to quit shooting them across the pond with her slingshot.
