If I heard correctly, I believe TVA is supposed to stop sluicing this week.

I hope you're right... but if you are this weekend is going to be PACKED!

Anyone waded the Holston since they dropped the sluicing down to 500cfs?  If so, how is it?

I was on it Saturday.  500 was easily wadeable.  Pretty much like an hour long pulse.

Where's your report?   :P

April 9th (this friday) is what the lady at TVA said when I called last week.

Fished yesterday.  500 cfs was not a problem for wading and actually made fish catching easier the current created just enough cover to help conceal my presence.  The late pm hatch of bwo's was awesome and I had my best day here ever w/ small ph tails and wets swung through the riffles.

Yep, I was there Saturday. The 500 cfs was pretty easy to handle. I didn't slay them, but it was a pretty good day.
