Sage rods,

What are your thoughts on sage rods.? Waffo56

Just have one - an 8'6' 5 wt.  Bought it 10 or so years ago to cast in the wind out West.  Stiff and powerful - I still use it for Streamers and flies over size 14.  It has treated me well.

I think they're pretty. What are your thoughts on 5wts by chance?

One of the best rods made....thats all I use and mine are second hands rods, with no problems in 5 years!  Fast & smooth rods.

I have a 9 wt FLi and Xi2, like the Xi2 better than the FLi, but guess I should. Even though it is a fast rod, still relatively easy to cast. If can find them on sale, they are worth it. Plenty of other good rods out there, try before you buy to find what suits you.

I gots me 2 of 'em, one is a 905 SP and the orther is a 904-3 RLP+

i'm not sure if those numbers are correctly formatted.. 9' 5 wt 2 piece SP and 9' 4 wt 3 peice RLP+
