If you've fished the Au Sable in Michigan, you've likely met Rusty Gates - its unofficial Riverkeeper, like George Griffith before him.  Rusty has lost his battle with cancer.

George was a founder of Trout Ulimited; Rusty led the creation of the Anglers of the Au Sable
