Smith River Today

I fished for a little while this afternoon.  Got to the river just as the rain stopped.  When I drove out past the river in Fieldale I thought they may have changed the generation schedule because they werent supposed to generate till 4PM and the water was up.  We must have got a good bit of rain.  The river is up at least a foot down in Bassett.

I ended up with 2 10-12 inch browns and a rainbow about the same size.

My feet were numb when I left the river. All of that rain coming down in the lower 30 degree temps has really got the river cold.
