Last night at approximately 11p.m. the constitution passed away. Born in philadelphia on Sept. 17, 1787 it lived a long and wonderful life it did great things and was the founder of a great nation. The constitution had been in declining health for the past few years due to a bout with a disease called liberalism. After a weakened state it could no longer hold on with the contraction of a new disease known as socialism. The socialism was brought on by a host carrier called Obama. It was said that one could hear weeping last night from James Madison's grave as he mourned the loss of his love. To the constitution you were loved dearly by Americans, you will be missed.  Rest in peace sept. 17, 1787 to nov 4, 2008 :'( :'( :'( :'(

In other news capitalism( a close relative of the constitution) was also killed by socialism last night.

I thought that was the Patriot Act and FISA Court
Edit: Oh yeah, and the entire electoral process... decided by the Supreme Court????

What a selective view of history you have.

What the hell does the Supreme court have to do with the electoral process besides to say that an elector has to cast his vote in the way the voters elected. The CONSTITUTION set up the electoral process.  Get you some of those sat morning cartoons to teach you about the govt. They'll break it down easy for you.

Interesting. Perhaps you recall the Court settling a little matter of POS back in 2000.... No? Is there something in the constitution about that? Reaffirmation of ignorance comes by you quite well.

Dumbass do you even know what POS means, or are you just throwing out shit that you think makes you smart, if your refering to POS where the supreme court decided the election cause of the incopetence of the florida electoral board and that the recount was unconstitutional, which later was confirmed that the electoral college was right and that Bush DID win the votes for florida. You mean that POS or do you want to try and google some to sound smart. You know i love to debate with some on here that know what they are talking about, but you just think you know everything, just as in fly-fishing, i mean the way you post you have got to be the godfather of fly fishing. Did you even vote in 2000 or even know what really happened or did you care back then. Talk about ignorance, when you grow up and realize you dont know everyting you might not sound so stupid.

"You need to wake up and smell reality if you think its one mans fault for the problems in this country. Our problems come from the dems, repubs, and all the way to the citizens of this country who care more about what to watch on t.v. than they do about what goes on in this country. Honestly it makes me sick to read comments like yours blaiming one man for this countries problems, last time i checked the constitution there is a house of representatives and a senate in our govt. Along with a supreme court who has loved to legislate from the bench."

Oh you went to college, well let me bow down and kiss your ass, like your the only one to attend college. FYI yes i did go to college right after i got out of the service, have you served your country? And please get a copy of the constitution so that you'll learn about the electoral college.

troutfreak... i dont see where i'm different from the democrats in 2000, or for that matter over the last 8 years. Sore loser? maybe. But i want a country run on the principles stated in the constitution, not someone who wants to take those rights away, someone who wants to "spread the wealth", i would like to see my girls have what i had, go to college ( dont know how well colleges are now since i see pepole like Launchone can attend). I really dont want to see this country turn into a socialist govt.. Dosent it make you think when the leader of Iran was glad to see Obama win? I mean this is an Islamic leader who in the past has threatened us, and he is GLAD that Obama was elected. Why would he be glad? Matbe since Obama has sympathy for middle eastern Islam? I hope this country remains strong and we rise out of the troubles were in. And i will do as my country ask me to do as i always have. Obama makes me very nervous as to where he will take this country, and i have prayed long and hard this morning that he WILL be a good leader, but i have alot of fears about him. But we'll see in 4 years.

I am currently serving our country as a medical student and future physician. You are a very eloquent bastion for political discussion. I often find those that must resort to the use of such erudite language are fags

O.k stupid, do you know what the ruling was in 2000? Want me to explain. The Supreme court said that the recount in Florida was UNCOSTITUTIONAL. That means in thier interpretation of the law that it went against the constitution. Boy you really dont get it do you? I'm sure you think you know everything. As for my comment i am referring to cases when the SC makes legislation from the bench, there was no legislation enacted in the 2000 election! Damn you really didnt get much from college did you. I like arguing with TB II better, at least he has some knowledge of the govt.

So you are saying it was constitutional for an appointed body to make a decision regarding an electoral procedure?
