A comment on CNN.com from Renita regarding the election:

November 4th, 2008 4:24 pm ET

I believe that we should vote for a person who ran a good campaign, told us what he believed in and what he wanted to do for our country and to unite this divided world. I believe in Barack and all that he has told us and how much he loves the United States of America, I have read his plan and it is best for me and I will be voting for him and for change, in McCains own words he voted with Bush 90% of the time more than his republican colleges but when he campaigned for President all of a sudden he was different than bush, he has the same beliefs and that will not change. Palin was picked so that all of women would vote for him because no matter what our beliefs were just because she is a woman and poor Hilllary didn't get the nomination we would turn to him, anyone who would vote for McCain because Hillary didn't get the nomination was not voting for change in our politics and belief in policy change but simply because she was a woman, how sad. I am a vote for Obama and I am very informed and watched every debate and read every word of each of their plans and if half the people voting today did that, it would be a landslide for Obama for sure. Shame on any racist casting a vote against a black man for president.

I certainly appreciate Renita's judicious use of puntuation, but I don't like being called a racist for voting for McCain.

Fire-Fly

Wouldnt it be Racist if one votes for him cause he's black?

I canceled out one Obama vote, then went fishing in the high country!!!!!

I went bassing on a farm pond and then went over and voted for "that one" as well. Good to be in a free country that allows us to rail on politicians and one another on internet message boards huh?  ;hb

:)I'm proud to say I voted in my first election last week.  I'm even prouder to be able to say that I voted against Obama's socialistic economic ideas, his immoral view on the sanctity of life, and his scary foreign policy.

Caleb
