Hit the Chesapeake bay on a charter boat with a friend.  It was a "make up" day, so the cost was a whopping $50 each
=D
The intent was to troll for Striped Bass...AKA Rockfish.  Well, it was a beautiful late winter day on the water, but the fish weren't "on" in our area.  6-7 hours of trolling produced not a single bite.
Took some good pictures though.

This ship was entering the bay.  No idea what it was, my guess was some kind of research vessel.  The "fleet" as its called was out in full force, as this is the peak of striper fishing season.  There were probably 100+ boats we could see fishing, plus the ship traffic.  Watched a large Navy frigate of some kind leave, picture didn't turn out for some reason.

No, not a fish.  That's a 48oz "Mojo" lure bouncing along the bottom (at 45')

Matt climbed the tuna tower and took a few shots.  His horizon shots were into the sun (shouldn't have given him that third beer) so they didn't turn out.

Later we motored over to the CBBT and I caught one schoolie along the pilings.  Too little to keep and eat.

well it looks like you had a nice day to be on the water even if the bite was off!
ex - I'm not going to live with you through one more fishing season!
