Four federal dams on the lower Snake River are destroying a national treasure - our wild salmon runs. These fish are vital to the culture, economy, and balance of nature that the Pacific Northwest has always relied on. If the Administration acts now, however, they can stop these dams from destroying salmon runs.

These four dams have a high environmental cost, but low value. They are the biggest obstacle to the recovery of Snake River salmon, and their limited benefits could be replaced for less than is currently being spent on an ineffective non-dam removal salmon recovery strategy.
