Hello everyone,
I just wanted to put up a little notice about a fly shop in the RTP area. Martyn's Sea and Stream, owned by John Martyn, is a small but complete fly shop located on Hwy. 55 South off of Hwy. 40. John specializes in FFF certified casting instruction, custom fly tying, and guided fly and spin fishing trips from Atlantic Beach and Nags Head. He guides out of a 23' Key West for False Albacore during the fall season and also caters to beginners with the bed and breakfast weekends he conducts with Brian Horsley and Sarah Gardner. His shop carries Sage, Cloudveil, Simms, Patagonia, Ex Officio, St. Croix., Loomis, Lamson, Tibor, Abel, SA Mastery, Rio, Umpqua, Riverborn, Rainy, Cam Sigler, and Montana Fly Co. If he doesn't have it he will get it, and no one can rig a saltwater big game outfit better. Just ask the owner of the current record IGFA Bluefin on fly. For more information give him a call at (919) 572-1616.
