I fished a Virginia blueline with a friend yesterday who had never caught a brookie before.  I could see the same excitement in him as I had when I caught my first brookie.  After a nice hike, we fished about 2 1/2 hours and we each brought 12 to 15 brookies to hand with the largest about 8", and several LDR.  The weather was gorgeous, a little hot but low humidity.  We returned to our starting point just in time for a good lunch and a little rest before heading out to another stream for some rainbow fishing.  All in all a great day with a good friend who was most greatful for an opportunity to catch a brook trout.  Of course, all fish were released in good condition.

Well done Creekchub.  Bluelines, brookies & friends are a great way to spend the day.  How were the water levels?
