I decided to call in sick, uhm, I mean I was sick today.  And the only way to get better according to the doctor was to go fishing.  I hit a blue line in search of brookies.  I was at about 4000 feet elevation and the temperature was in the 60's.  There were a few little dark stones around, but not much else coming off most of the day.  However, the brook trout were definitely looking up for a meal.  Fished a dry fly all day and lost count of how many fish I caught.   Most were on the small side, but a few pushed  5 or 6 inches.  This was my 1st time really chasing brookies anywhere besides the Park since moving here.  It certainly didn't disappoint.

Sounds like a great day chasing brookies. Best wishes and hope you feel better soon. ;D

Pastor explains icons to my son: you know like the fish symbol on the back of cars.
My son: My dad has two fish on his car and they're both trout!
