If anyone has a non-fishing spouse that would like to attend, but doesn't know what to do during the day, I will be listing some local attractions and events here.

There are lots of antique shops, art galleries in New Market, 7 miles south in Mt Jackson and 7 miles north at Mauzey.

A caverns tour is a good way to spend an afternoon.

JMU is playing Rhode Island in Harrisonburg at 1:30 pm. It is family weekend so if you are interested in attending, you should contact JMU to get tickets now.

The Dayton Farmers market and Shenandaoh Heritage Farmers market both have unique shops that offer locally produced food and handcrafted items. Approximately 30 minutes south of the camp.

If they enjoy biking there are many senic back roads that would make a good day trip.

   ;D Sort of figured you guys would be able to sniff them out.

The closest liquor store is 7 miles north.  Beer and wine are available in most of the convience stores.
