Carteret County leaders break ground on western boat launch facility off Highway 24

More access to the water in western Carteret County. On Friday, leaders broke ground on a new boat launch facility, a project years in the making.

Behind me here along Highway 24 sits about 60 acres that will soon become one of the largest public boat ramps in North Carolina.
