What a gorgeous day to float the river. Went back to do the State Park to Dusty Trails float, hoping for another stellar day. Rhody brought along his friend Clark from the Toe River.

We got on the water a bit earlier than last time, now that we've learned the launch and takeout spots and shuttle run. Clark started off in the back, but that didn't slow him down and he picked off a number of fish early on. Rhody wasn't seeing any action up front as I rowed the first stretch.

Clark rowed next and I caught a few from the stern, as Rhody continuted to be refused, but with beer in hand he continuted to pepper the bank. AS the sun reached its apex things slowed down.

Rhody took over on the sticks and I took over on the bow. The fishing picked up in the late afternoon. No big fish were caught and the total numbers were lower than the last trip.

Rhody took some pics of a few of the small smallies that were caught.

Because I have common sense, ok
and unfortunately, a lot of people don't.
